I really do love giving massages, and facilitating my clients own healing. Massage has really changed my life and how I view and allow things to enter or leave my life. I never knew what I wanted to do in life until I was introduced to Reflexology. Reflexology is different points on the hands and feet, that you can press to stimulate change in the body, such as different organs, glands, or physical parts of the body like the head and neck. This is where I heard those magical words that I always believed in the back of my mind,but never heard out loud "The body can heal itself!" I almost wanted to cry, or jump up and down like I had found the holy grail. Which I did I found my holy grail. I found new purpose and new excitement in my life, I still have that joy today. When I am able to really connect with my clients and give them the therapy and the SPACE to really do their own therapeutic work to heal from the inside out, it is by far the most fulfilling and exciting joy, and happiness that I personally experience. I first went to a massage school in 2005, called Somerset School of Massage Therapy, in Flint MI. I received a certification and immediately went to work as a massage therapist. After working as a therapist for about 8 years, I decided to go back to school and get my Associates Degree in Therapeutic Massage so I can have the ability to teach Massage Therapy and to share my joy and understanding to others. I graduated with honors from Baker College of Owosso, MI June 2015 with my Associate Degree of Applied Science in Therapeutic Massage. I am currently learning and practicing CranioSacral Therapy, which has become a fascinating therapy to work with my clients. Seeing clients overcome leaps and bounds of deep emotional hurts, physical chronic pain, trauma both emotional and physical, this therapy is profound. After accomplishing my Degree I was moved to open my own practice called "Onna's Integrative Massage Therapy" which is located at 914 N. Euclid Ave, Bay City,MI 48706. This too has been a joy and a learning experience, but most of all I love the fact that I still get a smile on my face when I turn the key and open my door to my own Business. I am truly blessed to be doing what I love, and to bring a state of peace and space for others to enjoy.
