Samantha completed a Bachelor of Science in Kinesiology from McMaster University. During this time, she worked with individuals with multiple sclerosis and spinal cord injuries, volunteered in a sports medicine facility, and was a member of the dance team. Upon graduating, she pursued a Master of Science in Physiotherapy at the University of Toronto. Samantha uses a multi-modal approach to her treatment plans through progressive exercise prescription, soft tissue release, dry needling, and manual techniques. She values meaningful relationships with her clients and empowers them to take an active role in their rehabilitation goals while providing the tools and support to live a healthy lifestyle. Samantha has over 15 years of dance experience both at the competitive and recreational levels. Additionally, she has an interest in sport-related injuries and geriatric rehabilitation. She highly values continuing education, and plans to pursue courses in pelvic health. She is able to provide physiotherapy services in Cantonese. In her free time, you can find Samantha walking around the city exploring new restaurants, cooking with her husband and enjoying her pandemic hobby - knitting!
