TMJ (Jaw) Massage - This type of massage can help with the TMJD (Temporomandibular Joint Disorders). These disorders are conditions affecting the jaw and surrounding muscles and ligaments. They are caused by multiple reasons like trauma, stress, wrong posture, improper bite, clenching and grinding of teeth, arthritis, wear and tear to name a few. Symptoms include difficulty in chewing, pain in jaw, toothache, headache, pain around the ear, fullness in the ears , ringing/ tinnitus in the ear, clicking/ popping sounds in the jaw. Treatment can include working on the face, neck and upper back and also inside of the mouth.
