Having experienced for myself the enormous benefits from natural and alternative therapies from a young age, I knew I was called to help others with their wellness goals from a natural healing perspective. I graduated from Kikkawa College and have had the privilege of working in clinical practice since 2001. Having spent 23 years of my career working in multidisciplinary clinics alongside Physiotherapists, Naturopathic Doctors, Chiropractors, Acupuncturists, Kinesiologists, Chiropodists, and Psychologists has kept me passionate about staying up to date with current evidence-based treatments for a wide variety of wellness goals and concerns. I have continuing education in Cupping, Clinical Aromatherapy, Kinesio Taping, Pregnancy & Labour Support, Myofascial Integration and Lymphatic Drainage. My philosophy is a holistic approach to therapeutic massage that supports the whole person in their wellness and self care plan.
Massage
This integrative session combines therapeutic massage with targeted red light therapy (RLT) to support faster recovery, reduce inflammation, and relieve pain. Your therapist will begin with manual therapy tailored to your needs, followed by a 10 - 20 minute application of RLT to specific areas for enhanced healing and deep tissue repair. Recommended for muscle tension, sports recovery, chronic pain, and soft tissue injuries. Covered under most extended health plans when booked under massage therapy.
Lymphatic Drainage
Lymphatic drainage massage is a series of gentle techniques that can help reduce swelling, fluid retention and puffiness. The massage consists of light, rhythmic strokes and a gentle, pumping technique to move lymph fluid through the body. This treatment works to stimulate the lymphatic system and encourage the natural drainage of the lymph, which carries waste products and excess fluids away from the tissues and back into the circulatory system and improve immune function.
