I am a physiotherapist registered with the College of Physical Therapists of British Columbia, and I maintain registration as a non-practising physiotherapist with the Australian Health Practitioner Regulation Agency. In 1997 I successfully completed the Canadian Physiotherapy Association orthopedic division post-graduate examinations culminating in the diploma of advanced manipulative physiotherapy. In 1999 I completed a masters of business administration at Simon Fraser University where I focused my studies on the strategic planning of the Physiotherapy Association of British Columbia for management of public and private member sectors. I have 32 years’ experience as a clinical physiotherapist, and I am a Fellow of the Canadian Academy of Manipulative Physiotherapists. I am a Matheson certified work capacity evaluator (CWCE), and I am a certified evaluator for use of the Employment Potential Improvement Corporation (EPIC) Lift Capacity Evaluation System. I have prepared over 800 functional capacity evaluations and functional tests. I have coordinated and provided rehabilitation to several hundred clients with motor vehicle collision-related soft tissue injuries. I have testified on several occasions as an expert witness in the fields of physiotherapy and functional capacity evaluation in the Supreme Court of British Columbia.
