Zach came to massage therapy through his interest in strength training, movement, and athletic performance. After spending years training and working with athletes, he became increasingly interested in how hands-on treatment and movement can help people recover, move better, and continue doing the activities they enjoy. Becoming an RMT felt like a natural way to combine those interests while helping people one-on-one. He works with clients to address pain, tension, mobility restrictions, training demands, and recovery, using a combination of hands-on treatment, movement-based techniques, active rehabilitation, relaxation strategies, and breathwork. His approach is adaptable, with the goal of making each treatment relevant to what the client is experiencing and what they want to get back to doing. Zach has spent more than seven years working with athletes and active individuals and has a personal background in competitive weightlifting. He is also an avid cyclist with extensive experience in long-distance riding and cycle touring, giving him a strong appreciation for the physical demands of both strength and endurance activities. Whether someone is training regularly, dealing with persistent tension, recovering from physical stress, or simply looking to move and feel better, Zach focuses on practical treatment that supports both short-term relief and longer-term function.
