Balanced Anatomy
4338 Main Street, #105, Vancouver, BC, V5V 3P9
Petra Jurcak graduated from Vancouver College of Massage Therapy in 2009, and brought her practice to Balanced Anatomy in 2011. She treats with a gentle heart and strong hands. She uses her knowledge, experience, as well as her intuition, and focuses on the client’s well being first, then any condition they may be presenting with. With her many years of experience treating many different clients, Petra has seen a plethora of injuries, pains, and dysfunctions. She is well-versed in the safe and effective treatment of a very wide variety of physical concerns. Petra’s professional and friendly manners allow clients to feel comfortable and confident in her treatments, and each session is suited to the client’s needs, whether it be a desire for relaxation, physical maintenance, or dealing with a new or old injury. Petra finds joy in sharing her skills and knowledge with future RMTs as an educator at RMT colleges, and this passion extends to her clients through patient education. She also enjoys incorporating what she learned in her yoga teacher training program into many home exercise recommendations. Petra hopes to help clients discover ways that they could proactively improve their quality of movement. Petra recently returned part time to Balanced Anatomy after taking time away from her RMT role here, and eventually starting a home practice with her existing clientele. She looks forward to meeting more people with whom she can collaborate, and potentially help in their own self care, and physical well being. Petra is accepting new clients, and is available on Fridays. Please book online. Direct billing offered for PBC and any extended health plans included in the Telus Health portal (Canada Life, Manulife, Dejardins, etc). Clients covered by SunLife will need to submit personally. Sorry, no ICBC or WCB claims.
