I absolutely love bodywork. I think it's pretty much the best thing ever. And for much of my life, I've seen massage therapists as superheroes -- because the ability to take someone's pain away is a super power, no doubt about it. After my own life got derailed by health issues (now resolved, happily!), I entered massage school in 2015 with the hope of acquiring some super powers of my own. I'm now trained in Swedish and Deep Tissue Massage, Myofascial Release, Shiatsu, and Neuromuscular Therapy, along with a thorough grounding in Anatomy and Physiology, Pathology, and Neurology. The work I do uses elements from all these modalities and areas of knowledge to relieve my clients' pain and bring them into greater harmony with their own bodies.
Upon consultation with you, I will tailor your massage session to suit whatever specific needs you're presenting at that time. Your massage may include a combination of Myofascial Release, Swedish Massage, and Deep Tissue work, or only one modality, depending on your preferences and needs. There is no additional charge for combined modalities.
