I was born and raised in Uzbekistan, which was then part of Soviet Union. After I finished high school, I studied at the ITMO University in St.Petersburg and graduated from it in 1984 with Masters in Engineering, specializing in Thermophysics. In 1995 my family and I moved to Canada, where from 1996 to 2003 I worked for a company that provided various types of home care. In 2003-2005 I took pre-requisits for enrolling into Physiotherapy Program at U of S. However, after I took several craniosacral therapy treatments that changed my life, I decided that I want to learn this technique. I enrolled into PIMT massage therapy school here in Saskatoon, which I graduated from in 2007, and became a member of Massage Therapist Association of Saskatchewan in June 2007. Starting in August 2007 and until recently, I had been working in Massage Therapy at RUH. In addition to regular massage, I practice baby massage, Thai Foot Massage & Reflexology, Thai Hand massage and Reflexology, Craniosacral Therapy and Visceral Manipulation.
