Dr. Abby Daunis is a physical therapist who specializes in orthopedics and pelvic floor. She earned her doctorate from Texas Woman's University, School of Physical Therapy in 2013. She has worked as an outpatient physical therapist since that time. She is certified in dry needling, Kinesiotaping, SFMA level 1, and USATF level 1. She has been providing pelvic floor PT since 2023, after completing coursework with Herman & Wallace Pelvic Rehab Institute. Dr. Abby has a love for endurance sports. She is a runner and triathlete. She has completed three marathons and multiple half-marathons, 10Ks, and 5Ks. She competes in triathlons ranging from sprint distance to Half Iron Man distance. After giving birth to her first child, Dr. Abby recognized she personally had many questions about how to safely return to sport. This led her to pursue continuing education courses in pelvic floor PT. She now thoroughly enjoy helping other moms safely return to exercise in the postpartum period. When she is not working, Dr. Abby enjoys training, searching for a good cup of coffee, spending time outdoors with friends, or finding the best park to explore with her family.
