Katherine Romero, PT, DPT earned her Doctorate in Physical Therapy from Simmons University in Boston and her Bachelor of Science in Therapeutic Horseback Riding from Houghton University. Her clinical experiences include orthopedic and spinal surgery acute care, private outpatient focusing on female athletes, as well as outpatient pelvic health for all genders. Through her clinical experiences Katherine has become passionate about pelvic health. She has worked with adults of many different ages, genders and in various stages of life and strives to create an environment where her patients can be themselves and feel comfortable asking any questions. She has completed specialized training in pelvic health through the American Physical Therapy Association as well as through Herman and Wallace. Katherine originally found her passion for physical therapy through her work as a therapeutic horseback riding instructor as well as through her interest in long distance running. She spent four years teaching therapeutic horseback riding to children with a variety of disabilities and valued the experience of working alongside various rehabilitation specialists. In her free time, Katherine enjoys spending time with her husband, running while listening to mystery audiobooks, and baking.
