Jennifer is a Registered Physiotherapist with a passion for helping people to live an active and healthy lifestyle. She was first exposed to Physiotherapy as a young athlete after a soccer injury and wanted to help others to return to the activities they love in the same way. This led to a rewarding career focus. Jennifer graduated with a Master of Physical Therapy degree from UBC in 2012. She also received a Bachelor of Science degree (with honours) in Kinesiology from Western University in 2009. In addition, she has her Orthopaedic Manual Therapy Level 3 Certification from the Canadian Physiotherapy Association Orthopaedic Division. Eager to pursue further continuing education, she has also completed the AFCI Acupuncture Education Program and a Functional Dry Needling Certification. In order to facilitate the achievement of each client’s specific goals, Jennifer uses a range of approaches including manual therapy, electrotherapeutic modalities, shockwave, muscle energy techniques, acupuncture, dry needling (IMS), movement re-education, strengthening, conditioning and functional exercise. In her spare time Jennifer enjoys playing soccer, spinning and spending time outdoors with her golden retriever
