Meet Karla! With a career in physiotherapy spanning over 25 years, Karla has experience working across all sectors of healthcare and with all age groups. She graduated with a Bachelor of Science in Physical Therapy from Queen’s University in 1995 and in 2023 completed a Master of Applied Health Services Research through the University of New Brunswick. Karla believes that uniting evidence with practice is key to ensure the best possible care experience for individuals and their families. She is a lifelong learner and enjoys taking courses and learning and applying new clinical skills. Karla has worked with children for many years and continues to offer paediatric physiotherapy services in addition to working with orthopaedic conditions at Max Health Fredericton. Outside of work, she spends as much time as she can outdoors – gardening, kayaking, and riding her horse. She enjoys family time and keeping in shape through cross-fit. In her spare time, she also volunteers and is the current Chair of the Professional Competence Committee with the College of Physiotherapists of New Brunswick.
