Kan completed an honours Bachelor of Kinesiology degree from the University of Toronto. He then proceeded to obtain his Master’s degree in Physiotherapy from the University of Birmingham in the U.K. After graduating, Kan worked in England in areas of orthopedics and geriatric rehabilitation before deciding to come back to Canada. He also offers Acupuncture services Kan believes in a holistic approach when it comes to treating his patients. His philosophy involves an active rehabilitation approach which he believes is key to recovery. His practice focuses on evidence-based practice, which includes manual therapy, individualized exercise prescription, and patient education as his main driver for optimal patient recovery. Kan is a strong believer in continuing education. He plans to further his knowledge and skills through additional courses in manual therapy in the future. During his spare time, Kan enjoys spending time with family and friends, traveling, and playing basketball.
