Elaine has been in the medical field for over 25 years practising as a cytotechnologist in the medical laboratory. Her interest in Eastern medicine started in 2016 with her search for a more holistic approach to healthcare – one that encompasses treating the physical as well as the emotional aspects of illness. Acupuncture addresses the immediate and the underlying issues that often lead to pain and illness. Elaine uses meridian style acupuncture and Traditional Chinese Medicine method points that help alleviate pain and guide the body back into balance. As a mother of two grown daughters, Elaine's nurturing nature provides a safe and warm environment. She's able to treat acute and chronic conditions including sciatica, back/shoulder/neck pain, women's health, digestive issues, stress and anxiety relief. Elaine often incorporates cupping and gua sha into her acupuncture treatments. If a client is seeking nervous system regulation, Elaine offers sound therapy placed directly on the body for relaxation and reset at the beginning of your acupuncture treatment.
