Dr. Nelson is honored to serve the Keller community and is celebrating his 5th year in practice helping people with neck pain, shoulder problems, knee problems, and neuropathy. Mystery pains and issues are his bread and butter and he loves to empower his patients to get better faster and stay better longer. Dr. Nelson grew up in the country outside of Austin, TX and had his life changed by chiropractic when he was 15 years old. His first adjustment provided much-needed relief after having lived in pain for 6 years. His experience taught him empathy for his patients that often are in more pain than it might appear at first glance. He has been married to his amazing wife, Mary Katherine, for 8 years and they raise their three boys in the North Fort Worth area. Dr. Nelson has played sports his whole life and enjoys cycling, playing soccer, basketball, and golf (though the golf course may not enjoy it as much as he does). He also loves woodworking and making wooden toys for his boys and other kids. Over the past three years he has developed a passion for Brazilian Jiu Jitsu and holds his blue belt from his Instructor, Roberto Kaelin, under Carlos Machado. Dr. Nelson is honored to have been able to help several of the Machado brothers with various health concerns and recommends their schools to anyone wanting to become stronger, more fit, more resilient, and more confident.
FOR REVSTRONG MEMBERS ONLY! We'll start with a brief history and detailed exam to make sure we understand your starting point. That exam takes about 20 minutes and can include a 5-zone sensory test, balance test, muscle tests, spinal stress tests, and a spinal analysis. After the exam, I'll listen to you to make sure I understand exactly what you want out of care and how your health concerns are impacting your life. Once I clearly understand how your health is impacting you and what you want, I'll share your results and we'll come up with a plan of action. Once in agreement, we can move forward and I'll provide your first treatment!
