Pei Xu Ph.D., Dipl. O.M. (NCCAOM), National Board-Certified Acupuncturist, graduated Summa Cum Laude from Florida College of Integrative Medicine, receiving her Master of Science in Oriental Medicine and Bachelor in Professional Health Studies. She also earned a Doctoral degree in Sports Psychology and Sports Training from Wuhan Sports University in China where she worked with Olympic teams and elite athletes, building her experience and knowledge of coping with stress and anxiety, as well as pain management and sports injuries. Since 2011, with the guidance of renowned Chinese Medicine Professor Dr. Yi Yang, she has gained invaluable knowledge and clinical experience with classic and modern Chinese medicine. Pei also practiced acupuncture, tuina, cupping, moxibustion, and herbal medicine with Dr. Pengcheng Zhang at the Hubei University Of Chinese Medicine Hospital. Her research in neuroscience and neuro-acupuncture gives her faith in the success of acupuncture on the nervous system to stimulate health. She believes that acupuncture and herbal medicine are the most effective alternative to promote optimal health. Pei loves helping people and has seen significant results in treating acute, chronic, simple, and complex health issues.
