Alexa Keffer is a graduate of the University of Regina in Kinesiology and Human Kinetics with accreditation in the Nursing Faculty. At the University of Regina, Alexa was involved in athletic training for the U of R Cougar basketball teams. She also worked as a student personal trainer and as a Fitness and Lifestyle Centre attendant. She has volunteered much of her time in neurorehabilitation and teaching English as a second language (ESL). Alexa enjoys many sports, namely football and basketball. In her free time she enjoys hanging out with family and friends, playing tennis, and reading good books. Alexa is excited to be working at Empower Physiotherapy in both an administrative and Kinesiologist role.
Kinesiology
This appointment is conducted by a licensed Kinesiologist for anyone looking to understand their body and movement in daily life. We will assess your movement, strength, and function, talk about your goals, and identify areas that may need support. You will leave with a personalized exercise plan designed to improve everyday movement, overall strength, and confidence.
Physiotherapy
Air Relax Recovery Sessions provide a controlled air pressure system of dynamic compression to the lower limbs, the core/trunk OR the upper limbs. A modality to assist with decreasing soreness and fatigue in muscle and assisting in recovery for all populations.
