Darshel Diaz, DOMP, DScO, graduated from the Canadian College of Osteopathy (Toronto campus) in 2019, after successfully defending her thesis entitled, The Effect of Global Osteopathic Treatment on First Responders Diagnosed with PTSD: A Pilot Study. She began her career working alongside the fitness director at McMaster University to develop programs tailored to meet the needs of individuals with mental and physical disabilities. Inspired by the progress made by her clients through movement and mindful-based practices, she continued in this field. Darshel currently works with individuals of all ages; in addition too, a paediatric population diagnosed with Autism Spectrum Disorder. She believes in the human body’s innate ability to heal itself and the profound connection between the mind, body, and spirit.
