Integrated Manual Therapy and Acupuncture Care About I am a dual-licensed Registered Massage Therapist (RMT) and Registered Acupuncturist (R.Ac) practicing in Vancouver. I provide integrated care that combines clinical assessment, hands-on manual therapy, and Eastern medicine principles to help improve movement, reduce pain, and support whole-body regulation. Treatment decisions are based on your clinical presentation, goals, and response to care, with a focus on measurable progress. I prioritize clear communication and shared decision-making throughout your recovery. I also maintain ongoing advanced clinical training in the Doctor of Traditional Chinese Medicine (DTCM) program. Education and Training Credentials • Tzu Chi International College: R.Ac, TCMP, DTCM (in progress) • Langara College: RMT • University of Pennsylvania: Master of Science • Kyung Hee University: Bachelor of Physical Education Clinical Training • Kyung Hee University Korean Medicine Hospital, 2025 • Jaseng Hospital, Korea, 2025 Treatment Focus • Orthopedic Pain and Functional Issues (Neurostructural Reset) • Prenatal care, birth preparation, and postpartum reset • TMJ, Facial Asymmetry, and Facial Palsy Support • Face Vitality and Balance (Acupuncture) How to Choose Between RMT and Acupuncture Choose RMT if your main goal is improved mobility, reduced pain, and movement-based rehabilitation. Choose acupuncture if your goals include pain modulation, nervous system regulation, stress and sleep support, or whole-person regulation alongside local care. Not sure which service is right for you? You can book either RMT or acupuncture. At your first visit, we will assess your symptoms and goals, then recommend the most effective plan based on your clinical findings. Booking Guidance for Ongoing Symptoms If your symptoms have been present for 4 weeks or longer, treatment often works best when sessions are scheduled consistently. In many cases, I may recommend starting with 3 sessions spaced about 1 week apart, depending on your presentation and goals. After your first visit, we can decide together on the most appropriate treatment plan and adjust as needed. Product Sensitivity I typically do not use oil. I use Songbird beeswax-based balm and Saje products. If you have allergies, scent sensitivities, or skin sensitivities, please let me know in advance so we can adjust accordingly.
