Friendly, warm and upbeat no matter what I am undertaking I do so with the utmost care for others. I love what I do. I became interested in massage after a bad accident resulted in devastating injury to my low back and right leg. After 2.5 years in pain and unable to twist at the waist, a massage therapist helped me and was the inspiration to change careers, passing my Florida boards in August 2017. Yet, I believe my other life experience was necessary to prepare me to be a better practitioner. Before massage, I had an eclectic career, traveling the world as a chef in the yachting industry. I even wrote a novel based on my experiences! In 2006 I became involved in continuing education/self-development & expanded into a Life Coaching practice helping others achieve their personal & professional goals. In 2016 I moved to Port Orange to become permanent care-taker for my ailing mom and opened KBV Massage in Spruce Creek Fly-in.
