Abhishek recieved a Masters of Physiotherapy (Orthopaedics & Sports) in 2006. He has been trained in Advanced Manual Therapy through APTEI, where he completed his Diploma in Advanced Orthopedic Physical therapy (Dip. AMPT). He also completed various courses with Acupuncture Canada (TCM & Dry Needling), Exstore system and human movement specialty. Abhishek specializes in injury rehabilitation, musculoskeletal health preservation and performance optimization. He provides treatments through his unique application of joint, soft tissue (facial and kinetic chain) and neural mobilization, Medical Acupuncture/Dry needling along with therapeutic and corrective exercises. He is especially keen on empowering and educating patients to learn about mobility and fitness from a preventative rather than reactive approach as well educating patients on pain management strategies when recovering from an injury. He works diligently to understand his patients and their goals so as to develop a treatment program tailored to his patients needs and preferences.
