In 2012, Amy completed her Bachelor of Science in Kinesiology at the University of Western Ontario. Amy completed her Doctor of Physiotherapy degree at Bond University in Gold Coast, Australia in 2015. Amy worked as a Physiotherapist for two years in Australia before moving back to Canada. Amy believes patient education and advice is the number one important part of treatment. This is complemented with manual therapy and exercise prescription. She feels professional development courses are important to continue her learning and enhance her patient care. Some professional development courses Amy has completed include acupuncture, upper cervical dysfunction and persistent pain. In her spare time, Amy enjoys spending time with family and friends, exercising, and cooking. Amy is excited to continue her physiotherapy career as a member of the LiveWell Waterloo team.
