Matthew is a graduate from Vancouver College of Massage Therapy in 2021 with a Bachelor of Kinesiology from Simon Fraser University. Matthew started practicing in 2022. He grew up playing many different sports and had to overcome his injuries. Matthew has experienced the effects of massage therapy and has a passion to help others. During his time at VCMT, he got the opportunity to work with a wide range of patients that includes sports injuries, neurological pathologies, relaxation, and more. It has allowed him to treat his patient with the whole body in mind. He believes there are many benefits of a collaborative approach with other healthcare practitioners to achieve optimal results. Matthew uses a variety of techniques such as Swedish, myofascial, trigger points, stretching and other techniques to help with the patient’s goals.
