Sam is a highly committed osteopathic manual therapist known for integrating evidence-based practices with a personalized approach. Having trained in the UK, and experience working in London and Hong Kong, Sam’s recent addition to Intrinsi enriches the team, adding diverse expertise to our osteopathy service. As an osteopathic manual therapist with a solid foundation in sports massage therapy, he has a special interest in musculoskeletal diagnosis, manual therapy, exercise rehabilitation, and lifestyle coaching. His practice is anchored in a philosophy of clear, progressive management and individualized treatment plans. With a deep-rooted connection to sports, particularly as a former semi-professional rugby player, Sam has a profound understanding of injury mechanisms in impact sports. This insight has led him to further his education in the treatment and management of concussions, addressing their prevalence and often inadequate handling in the current healthcare landscape. Outside the clinic, Sam is an enthusiastic traveler and adventurer who values quality time with his family and his rescue dog. Having recently moved to Calgary, he eagerly anticipates exploring the landscapes that Alberta has to offer, and hopefully learning to ice skate properly!
