Audrey Lowe, physiotherapist and acupuncturist, wants you to feel, sleep and live life better. Early in her physiotherapist career, Audrey was introduced to the practice of acupuncture and was so impressed with its potential for helping people live better lives, she pursued additional training to become an acupuncturist in 1996. In 2016 she added Craniosacral Therapy to her skill set and integrates it into both professional practices. During her years of physiotherapist practice, Audrey has enjoyed working with adults and children with acute and chronic musculoskeletal pain including those with complex persistent problems (i.e. arthritis, chronic pain, concussion, whiplash). As an acupuncturist with 25 years experience she uses acupuncture and traditional Chinese Medicine to inform the treatment of acute (i.e sports injuries) and chronic pain (i.e. neck/low back pain, headache, whiplash, arthritis, headache) insomnia, stress, anxiety, autoimmune conditions, gastrointestinal disorders, allergies and asthma. Acupuncture
Acupuncturist assessment and treatment. A Traditional Chinese medicine (TCM) assessment will be conducted and the results used to guide the treatment plan. Choose this if you would like your problem addressed from an integrative, holistic perspective that includes TCM acupuncture, moxibustion and/or cupping, diet and meditation.
Physiotherapy
Physiotherapy initial assessment and treatment service delivered by a physiotherapist uses a western biomedical approach aimed to improve physical function. Assessment of physical function is conducted. Treatments used will vary based on assessed need. (i.e. education, exercise, acupuncture, manual therapy, craniosacral therapy).
