I have been interested in pursuing a career in healthcare since high school. Chiropractic is a career path that combines my desire to help patients using hands-on care and my interest in human anatomy. After graduating from the University of Western Ontario (UWO) with a bachelor of science degree in kinesiology, I attended the Canadian Memorial Chiropractic College (CMCC) in Toronto where I graduated as a Doctor of Chiropractic. During my time at UWO, I also studied abroad for a semester at Victoria University in Melbourne, Australia. My practice style focuses mainly on hands-on manual treatments. Through a combination of muscle and soft tissue techniques, gentle joint mobilizations, and adjustments, patients can expect a well-rounded treatment with the goal of reducing pain, soreness, and stiffness, and supporting their overall health. I also strive to ensure patients are well-informed about the different factors affecting their health and work collaboratively to address them. I have completed a course in Active Release Techniques which is a treatment method designed to relieve muscle soreness and stiffness and improve flexibility. Staying informed on new treatment techniques is important to help improve outcomes for patients. In my spare time, I enjoy regular exercise, reading, spending time with family and friends, and cheering on the Toronto Maple Leafs. I also have well-rounded experience in different sports having played hockey, baseball, and karate. I believe that optimal health comes from building and maintaining good habits. Regular exercise, stretching, healthy diet, daily walks, etc, all have positive effects in maintaining long-term health and fitness.
