Emma received her Bachelor of Science in Human Kinetics at the University of Ottawa and her Masters of Physical Therapy at Queen’s University in 2012. She has experience in cardiac rehabilitation, adult out-patient orthopaedic physiotherapy and acute care. Since 2014, she has been working at the Hospital for Sick Children with areas including intensive care, paediatric medicine, respirology, cardiology and renal transplant. She is also a guest lecturer for the Physical Therapy program at the University of Toronto. Her continuing education includes: Introduction to NDT Contemporary NDT Treatment of the Baby and Young Child Dynamic Relationships: A 21st Century Approach to Postural Control CME Level I Gait observation and individualized intervention with AFOs Dynamic Core for Kids: Pelvic Health Edition NDT in ASD Infant Mental Health She is a member in good standing with the College of Physiotherapists of Ontario. Emma provides therapy at our clinic location in Whitby at the Abilities Centre, as well as home visits in Scarborough, Pickering and Ajax.
