Hi, my name is Emma, and I am one of the physiotherapists at South Island Physiotherapy. I’m a Victoria‑raised physiotherapist with a lifelong passion for sport, movement, and helping people get back to what they love. Whether you’re recovering from an injury, managing persistent pain, or looking to improve performance, I will work with you to create a plan that feels achievable, motivating, and tailored to your goals. I completed my Bachelor of Human Kinetics at the University of British Columbia Okanagan, where I built a strong understanding of how the body moves and performs. I went on to earn my Master of Physical Therapy at the University of Saskatchewan, where I developed well‑rounded skills in assessing and treating a wide range of conditions and populations. During my training, I completed a clinical placement at South Island Physiotherapy, which strengthened my interest in active rehab and confirmed how much I enjoy working with this amazing community. Outside the clinic, you’ll usually find me running, lifting weights, surfing, skiing, golfing, or playing pickleball. Staying active helps me relate to the goals and challenges my patients face and fuels my commitment to helping people return to the activities that matter most to them. I’m excited to work with you and support your journey toward feeling capable, strong, and ready for whatever comes next.

Initial Assessment - Chronic/Complex Condition

This is session is best suited for persistent/ recurring injuries of 3 months or more. This is session is so much more than just an injury review. This is a life inventory. It is a process in co-creation where we work together to figure out what got you to this point and what it will take to get you back to independence.
