Amelia was born and raised in Interior Alaska. She studied professional massage and bodywork at Eagle Gate College in Salt Lake City, Utah, and graduated in 2011 at the top of her class. While in school she learned a variety of techniques, including Swedish massage, deep tissue, trigger point therapy, and sports massage, and has since earned additional certification in massage cupping. Amelia values having an active and healthy lifestyle and is passionate about helping her clients do the same. She especially enjoys working with athletes and active individuals to help them achieve their goals. In her free time, Amelia enjoys gardening, dancing, and playing in the great outdoors with her husband and their dogs.
The goal of this 60 min Therapeutic Massage is to release chronic muscle tension, realign deep layers of connective tissue, decrease pain, improve range of motion and flexibility, prevent injury, and improve recovery from physical activities using a combination of techniques from deep tissue, sports massage, and trigger point therapy, such as slow deep strokes, sustained pressure, assisted stretching and postural corrections.
