FCAMPT Physiotherapist, BSc, MPT, MClinPhys (Musculoskeletal), Clinical Pilates Instructor I began my physiotherapy career after completing my studies at the University of Sydney. Since then, I have gained experience treating a wide range of acute and chronic injuries in both hospital and private clinic settings. I was fortunate to work at an excellent medical clinic in Sydney, collaborating with allied health professionals, doctors, and specialists, which reinforced the importance of multi-disciplinary care for patients. Throughout my career, I have pursued additional courses to better understand the factors influencing pain experiences across the body. This journey led me to Curtin University, a renowned institution, where I focused on advanced manual therapy techniques and evidence-based pain management strategies. With a background in kinesiology and personal training, I am equipped to provide patients with the tools they need to begin their rehabilitative journey effectively. I specialize in managing acute and chronic pain in the spine, shoulders, and knees, as well as, running type injuries. My inspiration to become a physiotherapist came from witnessing firsthand the impact of pain on people’s function and quality of life. This experience motivated me to help individuals find effective ways to manage and enhance their function and performance, enabling them to regain enjoyment in their activities. Outside of work, I enjoy exploring new places and cultures or spending a quiet evening learning new cooking recipes. I am also enthusiastic about activities such as running, sports, hiking, and fishing.
