Dr. Korsa believes in treating the body as a whole – addressing mind, body and emotional health, and finding the underlying cause of illness. She is a licensed Naturopathic Doctor with certifications in Prescribing Authority, Acupuncture and IV Therapy. She is a member of the Canadian Association of Naturopathic Doctors (CAND) and British Columbia Naturopathic Doctors (BCND). Dr. Korsa uses a combination of nutritional and lifestyle counselling, herbal medicine, supplements, pharmaceuticals and intravenous therapy to develop an individualized treatment approach based on each patient’s condition and preference. She is committed to helping her patients achieve optimal health and wellness. Dr. Korsa’s areas of clinical focus include: -Women’s Health: hormone imbalances, PMS, irregular or painful periods, perimenopause/menopause -Digestive health: IBS, IBD, Celiac disease -Allergies -Stress, fatigue and burnout -Insomnia and sleep disturbances -Weight management -Health optimization/preventative health Born and raised in North Vancouver, she completed her Bachelor of Science degree at Simon Fraser University with a major in Cell and Molecular Biology and a minor in Kinesiology. Her interest in health and fitness led her to move to Sydney, Australia, where she worked as a Fitness Manager and Personal Trainer. She worked with many clients to help them achieve their health and wellness goals. This experience sparked her passion for healthcare and natural medicine. Dr. Korsa decided to pursue a career in Naturopathic Medicine and return to Vancouver to complete her training at the Canadian College of Naturopathic Medicine - Boucher Campus. When she’s not working, you’ll find Dr. Korsa exploring the beautiful outdoors, where she loves to hike, bike, swim, snowboard and spend time with family and friends.
