Arbind is a RMT graduate from the Sutherland-Chan College of Massage Therapy in Toronto. Prior to this he graduated with his Bachelor in Kinesiology from UBC. He has lived in South Vancouver for most of his life, where he spent his time working, volunteering, studying and playing organized sports. His first job was at Sunset Community Center, where he worked for several years, in various roles. Arbind has a broad sports background. He played ball hockey with Metro Minor Ball Hockey Association at the highest level, going to provincial and national level tournaments over the 10 years in which he played. He has also given back to the ball hockey community by volunteering as a coach and referee. Arbind believes that there is no such thing as a ‘one size fits all’ approach to therapy. Being adaptable is something he has honed, from years of experience in athletic performance and coaching, personal training, and studying. During his schooling, his favorite course was biomechanics, which he uses in his approach for understanding and educating clients about their injuries and performance. Arbind continues to expand his treatment skills and has completed extra training in manual lymph drainage and fascial stretch therapy. A self professed meat mechanic, Arbind enjoys roasting, grilling and smoking roasting various types of meat on the weekends. In his spare time, Arbind volunteers as a landscaper at Fraserview golf course. His 9 iron is his most effective tool!
