About Melissa I began my professional journey by completing my Bachelor of Science in Kinesiology at the University of Alberta. I then headed south to the University of Western States in Portland, Oregon to complete my Bachelor of Science in Human Biology as well as my Doctor of Chiropractic degrees. After my time in the United States, I completed all levels of acupuncture training through Acupuncture Canada as well as the Upper, Lower, Spine and Long Nerve Entrapment protocols of Active Release. Having competed in gymnastics growing up I have always had a special interest in treating the active population of any age. I enjoy working with pediatrics as well being apart of a patient’s prenatal care. I utilize integrative therapy to help people achieve their personal goals and I’ve always had a firm belief in treating holistically. I have had the opportunity to work with the Alberta Ballet, FC Edmonton as well as the Edmonton Prospects Baseball club. I also have been able to work with various Varsity level athletes at the University of Alberta as well as several gymnastics clubs here in the city.
