Alvin graduated from the International College of Traditional Chinese Medicine of Vancouver (Doctor of TCM program). He became a Registered Acupuncturist (R.Ac.) in 2009 and started his private practice in Vancouver. Later on, Alvin became a Registered TCM Practitioner (R.TCM.P.) in 2013 to combine Chinese herbal medicine to extend his practice along with Acupuncture. Alvin also obtained his Masters Degree (Integrative Western and Chinese Medicine) from Guangzhou University of TCM in China (2011). He worked in TCM Hospitals in China and studied from several TCM masters in China and North America as a practicum and as part of continuing studies. His practice includes TCM Diagnosis, Acupuncture, Moxibustion, Cupping, Ear Seeds, Acupressure (Chinese massage) and Chinese Herbal Medicine with Food Cures. Alvin is fluent in English, Cantonese and Mandarin.
