Amanda grew up in Porters Lake, NS. She is a double alumna of Dalhousie University completing both her BSc. in Kinesiology and MSc. in Physiotherapy. Amanda has volunteered as an athletic trainer for multiple national/international sporting events and has been the athletic trainer for the NS U15 Major Gulls since 2017. She currently serves as a board member of Sport Physiotherapy Canada- NS section. Amanda uses an individualized approach to rehabilitation, selecting from various evidence-based techniques to support her patients. She has post-graduate training in Orthopaedic Physiotherapy, K-taping, Acupuncture, Dry Needling, Complete Concussion Management, and is a certified Sport First Responder.
