David Fredbjornson (he/him) is a Registered Massage Therapist (RMT) in Victoria, BC, practicing at Allies Integrated Health. He offers inclusive, affirming, and client-centred massage therapy for people of all genders, sexual orientations, and body types. His practice focuses on chronic pain, persistent low back pain, and stress-related musculoskeletal tension. Since 2007, David has lived with persistent low back pain, an experience that deeply informs his work with clients managing chronic and recurrent pain. His approach is grounded in the biopsychosocial model, recognizing the interconnected physical, psychological, and social aspects of pain and healing. As a member of the LGBTQ+ community, David understands the importance of feeling safe, respected, and seen in healthcare spaces. Each session is tailored to support comfort, consent, autonomy, and quality of life. David completed his massage therapy training at Mount Royal College in 2006 and the West Coast College of Massage Therapy in 2009. He is committed to accessible, community-focused care and has experience supporting low-income individuals through massage therapy. His work is guided by compassion, inclusivity, and evidence-informed practice. David is 2SLGBTQIA+ friendly and has taken the Allies extra training in queer healthcare. Outside the clinic, David enjoys reading, balcony and community gardening, travelling, cooking, playing video games, practicing yoga, and spending time on his stand-up paddleboard, which helps him stay grounded and present for his clients.
