Rachel’s passion for health, fitness, and rehabilitation began at Wilfrid Laurier University, where she completed her undergraduate degree in Kinesiology while working as a student athletic therapist for the mens varsity football team. Alongside earning the title of a Certified Personal Trainer, Rachel pursued a diploma in massage therapy at Sutherland-Chan School of Massage Therapy. Currently, she is the trainer for a girls’ U18 AA hockey team. Rachel brings hands-on experience from her time at the Sutherland-Chan, Toronto General hospital, and Sunnybrook hospital where she had valuable experience working with a variety of patients, including those with medical conditions such as Parkinson’s, MS, and high risk pregnancy. Rachel aims to provide condition-specific treatments, drawing inspiration from her own background in athletics and experiences with injuries while using modalities such as acupuncture, cupping, stretch therapy, and joint mobilizations. Her commitment to wellness extends beyond the clinic by her firsthand understanding of the demands of sports and the importance of effective rehabilitation. Rachel focuses on creating personalized treatment plans that blend manual therapy, stretch therapy, and exercise to help clients achieve optimal functioning.
