1135 Lansdowne Street West, Unit 280, Peterborough, ON, K9J 7M2

Jay grew up in Bowmanville, ON and was very active in sports throughout his childhood and into adulthood. This interest led him to pursue an honour’s Bachelor’s degree in Kinesiology from Wilfrid Laurier University. He continued his post-secondary education at the University of Toronto where he obtained a Master’s degree in Physiotherapy in 2010. Upon graduation, Jay lived and worked in Ottawa in a variety of orthopaedic settings with a strong focus on manual therapy and a hands-on approach. These opportunities allowed him to pursue his passion for sport, gaining experience in working with athletes of all levels, from the common recreational to professional athlete. Jay and his family moved to Peterborough in 2018, after meeting with Connor and Adam and realizing their shared passion for Physiotherapy, sports and active living. Jay has taken extensive coursework in acupuncture, functional dry needling, functional movement screening, and manual therapy. He completed his Diploma of Advanced Manual and Manipulative Physiotherapy in 2017 and is a Fellow with the Canadian Academy of Manipulative Physiotherapy (FCAMPT). He continues to be active within the Physiotherapy community, mentoring current Physiotherapy students and those working within the community who are pursuing their FCAMPT designation. Outside of the clinic, he works as a team Physiotherapist for the Junior A Lakers, and continues to live an active lifestyle himself.
