Clients ask me all the time "Why did you decide to become a Massage therapist?" I'd have to say it was that moment when I realized my chronic neck pain had diminished, through the help of a Massage therapist. She gently manipulated the muscles that were causing such havoc and I was amazed that this therapy didn't hurt at all. I wanted to help people with pain management, so I went on to enroll in Massage school, graduating in 2007. Most would say my technique is gentle, nurturing even. My first experience on a Massage table was proofthat therapeutic work could be done with ease, causing no secondary pain the next day. My goal is simple: Decrease pain, increase relaxation. That said, I tend to blend relaxation with a therapeutic style so that the body isn't "guarded" during the session. Another question I hear regularly is "Do you get massages also?" My answer to this is "Absolutely!" One of the greatest benefits in receiving massage from other therapists is experiencingthe diversity that's out there in this field. It makes for better therapists as well, because we tend to pick up little techniques along the way that translate into a better massage for you (the client). When I'm not giving (or receiving) massage, I'm checking out music concerts or catching a new tv series on Netflix. I could spend hours at Barnes & Noble, (although I'm slowly startingto dabble withebooks as well.)Given the amount oftechnology available to us, I still carry around a calendar and make lists the old-fashioned way, with pen and paper. My favorite season would have to be Fall, with the change of colors on the leaves. I do have a cat, which I'm mentioning in case you are sensitive/allergic. (Try as I may to leave them behind, a stray cat hair manages to hike a ride on a sleeve or pant leg).

Designed to focus on 1-2 trouble areas and bring balance back to the body, this session gives you 60 minutes of Manual Therapy. (Option to extend Massage Time & other add-ons available before online check out) Note: This is not a Swedish/Relaxation style Massage and is meant to focus specifically on areas of pain and tension. . . HSA and FSA cards accepted for this service
