Saskatchewan born Dr. Rachel Frontain has loved and studied the arts since childhood. However, for most of her life, she has also been personally acquainted with chiropractic care; after experiencing chronic back pain as a child and a history of complex Benign Paroxysmal Vertigo as an adult, it is not just professional understanding Dr. Frontain offers her patients—it’s personal empathy. In fact, it was while recovering from a severe snowboarding accident in her 20s that Dr. Frontain witnessed the extraordinary results of multi-team coordinated, patient-centred, chiropractic care, and her life’s passion was sealed. She went on to achieve her Doctorate of Chiropractic and Bachelor of Sciences in Human Anatomy and Biology through the University of Western States in 2017. Inspired by the complex realities of recovery, empathetic to her patients’ journeys and passionate about treating challenging chronic conditions like migraines, chronic pain, chronic fatigue, post-concussion syndrome and balance difficulties, Dr. Frontain is also board certified with the American Chiropractic Neurology Board. Her post graduate studies in clinical neuroscience included over 400 hours at the Carrick Institute where she developed the specialized focus that makes Anew Chiropractic so unique today. Dr. Frontain (“Dr. Rachel,” as her patients call her) is thrilled to bring her education, understanding and singular approach to Alberta.
