Luka is dedicated to getting people back to doing what they love and being pain free while doing it. He strongly believes in the partnership of working together with patients to achieve their healthcare goals. His treatment philosophy reflects a biopsychosocial approach, which incorporates a holistic view of a patient to best address their concerns. In addition, Luka places emphasis on the value of patient education and believes that it is the key to motivating patients to take an active role in their health. Luka’s educational background includes two degrees from the University of Toronto, including his Masters of Physiotherapy. In addition, he has completed Level 1 of the Advanced Integrated Musculoskeletal (AIM) Physiotherapy Program and plans to continue to progress through this program. Luka has a strong interest in vestibular and concussion rehabilitation, as well as in dry needling and is planning to take continuing education courses in these fields in the fall. In his free time Luka loves spending time with his family and friends and trying to make them laugh. He enjoys a good coffee and spending time with his favourite (and only) niece. He enjoys back-country camping, bouldering and playing instruments. He has a passion for physical activity of any kind and picking up new hobbies or sports. (If you have any that are particularly addictive, make sure to mention it to him and his fiancée may or may not be pleased with you).
