Hi, I’m Correen! I grew up in Fort Saskatchewan and played many youth sports, including competitive swimming and ringette. My love for swimming led me to become a lifeguard and swim instructor while obtaining my BSc. in Geology at the UofA. Even then, I took courses in biology, human osteology, and zoology; I have always had a keen interest in the science of life and how we work! After over a decade in geology I decided to pursue my passion and graduated from the MacEwan University Massage Therapy program. I take an evidence-based approach to treatment, tailoring my work to everyone’s needs and abilities. I believe healing and feeling your best goes way beyond the massage treatment; empowering my patients with body awareness and self-care activities is integral to their lasting success! In addition to conventional therapeutic massage, I want to train further in other therapies and practices, such as manual lymphatic drainage techniques.
