Accepting New Patients & ICBC Claims - Saturday mornings Melissa has always been interested in health, wellness, and how the body recovers from stress or injury. Inspired by her own experiences with massage therapy and a desire to help others feel better, she pursued a career as a Registered Massage Therapist. After completing a 2,700-hour program at CDI College and graduating with honors, she began her practice in 2024 and currently works in Surrey, BC. Melissa takes a client-centered, collaborative approach to care and strives to understand each person’s unique history, goals, and day-to-day demands. Her sessions are thoughtfully tailored to help reduce pain, improve mobility, and support the body’s natural healing processes. She uses a variety of approaches, including Swedish massage, myofascial work, and Dr. Vodder-style Manual Lymphatic Drainage (MLD), based on what will best support each client. Melissa enjoys working with individuals managing chronic conditions and has a particular interest in nervous system support. She focuses on helping clients feel more comfortable and regulated in their bodies, supporting long-term ease, function, and quality of life. Outside of the clinic, Melissa loves spending time in her garden, practicing yoga, and being outdoors with her family.
