Richard was inspired to become a Registered Massage Therapist from his first-hand experience; recovering from his own injuries as a high-level athlete. Richard successfully completed his training at the Vancouver College of Massage Therapy. Previously, he obtained his Bachelor of Science, in Kinesiology, from Simon Fraser University. Richard has a passion for rehabilitation and sports and appreciates the benefits that therapy can provide. Education is a key part of every session, as Richard strives to support your journey to achieving your goals. His treatments will be individualized and will incorporate manual therapy and exercise programs curated especially for you! in addition to his formal training, he pulls from both his experiences as an athlete. Richard enjoys helping anyone who walks through the door; whether you are a desk-worker, play combat sports, basketball, ski, snowboard, run or anything in between, he can help you. Outside of the clinic, Richard enjoys combat sports (specifically grappling), playing basketball, and being an active member of the East Vancouver community where he was born and raised.
