Lara’s clinical focus at Wild Qi is holistic women’s heath, gastrointestinal regulation, nervous-system reset (stress, anxiety, burnout), pain treatment, and overall reconnection to a sense of wellbeing. Lara received two Master degrees in Chinese Medicine. Within her eight-year-academic training she learned various styles of acupuncture by Master-practitioners including Kiiko Matsumoto, Lorie Eve Dechar, and Dr. Mark Seem. With her in-depth training in fertility support by Dr. Dao Ni and Dr. Danica Thornberry, Lara provides extensive knowledge and skillful treatment strategies. Lara finds deep resonance with Taoism, Kabbalah, and Buddhist teachings and actively pursues Zen Buddhism as a dedicated student and practitioner. Her holistic approach draws from a diverse range of Eastern and Western modalities, encompassing TCM and Acupuncture, the traditional Japanese Reiki system, Breathwork, CranioSacral therapy (Upledger Institute cert.), Herbology, guided Mindfulness and Meditation, and Holistic Health Coaching (IIN cert). With almost two decades of experience in various healing arts modalities, Lara is committed to helping her patients address physical and emotional challenges, fostering balance and well-being. Her academic journey in Chinese Medicine commenced in 2011 in New York City. She successfully graduated from two of the most renown Master's degree programs (Tri State College of Acupuncture, NYC, and Yosan University, Los Angeles) to become a bicoastal licensed Acupuncturist and Herbalist. Lara holds the title of Reiki Master and has been imparting the wisdom of the Japanese System of Reiki for ten years. She has welcomed students and practitioners from across the globe, offering training sessions conducted both in Southern California and online.
