Dr. Jennifer’s approach to chiropractic care is a gentle and hands-on one. Using a combination of spinal manipulations, soft tissue work, medical acupuncture and cupping, she will address the problem at hand, such as backpain and headache, but will also search for ways to help to improve the overall wellness of the patient. She works with patients from all walks of life, from the very young to the young at heart, the expectant mother to the weekend warrior. Dr. Jennifer received her Doctor of Chiropractic degree from New York Chiropractic College after obtaining a Bachelor of Science degree from the University of Toronto. She is certified in Medical Acupuncture through McMaster University. Dr. Jennifer is licensed to practise by the College of Chiropractors of Ontario, and is a member of the Canadian and Ontario Chiropractic Associations. She juggles her chiropractic life with teenage daughters, doting husband, cats, yoga and all things food.

Chiropractic initial assessment

An initial assessment is used to assess and diagnose the problem(s) at hand, and to determine the best course of treatment. The doctor will carefully examine your medical history as well as provide a thorough physical examination to assess your specific needs. This physical exam may include, but is not limited to: Orthopaedic assessment Neurological assessment Range of motion assessment Postural assessment During this time, you may also wish to ask questions or discuss your concerns with the doctor. After determining a diagnosis and treatment plan, the chiropractor will usually begin treatment the same day. While some find immediate relief, the number of sessions you will need varies by condition and severity. **Please note, as of July 1, 2025, fee increase to $115.00.
