LaToya Riley, owner of Riley Orthopedic and Medical Massage, is certified in clinical and medical massage and manual lymphatic drainage. She has been practicing massage therapy in the metropolitan area of Columbia, SC since 2010. LaToya is currently pursuing a bachelors degree in exercise science at Columbia College. She plans to incorporate her knowledge of exercise and nutrition into the treatment plans of the clients. At Riley Orthopedic and Medical Massage, we aim to provide quality service and care to all of our clients.

Pregnancy massage focuses on addressing the special needs of expecting women. Swedish massage is performed using pillows and side-lying postures to prevent putting pressure on the abdomen as well as for the comfort of the mother-to-be. It is recommended that pregnant women who receive Massage Therapy are between 12-28 weeks along, unless otherwise cleared by an OB or PCP.

Kinesiology

Kinesiotaping (KT taping)

This service includes kinesiotaping of desired areas. Kinesiotaping helps reduce bruising, inflammation and swelling after surgery, speeds up recovery time, relieves pain, and can help facilitate movement to restore range of motion. Kinesiotape is provided with service.
