Christine Marcarian, LAc, is a licensed acupuncturist, massage therapist, and herbalist. She founded AcupunctureBody, LLC, in 2011 and has worked in healthcare and wellness for nearly fifteen years. Christine earned a Master of Science in Acupuncture in 2008 and a Master of Science in Traditional Chinese Medicine in 2010 from the Tristate College of Acupuncture in New York, NY. She studied massage therapy at the Swedish Institute College of Health Science in New York, NY. Early in her career, Christine Marcarian, LAc, worked in hospital settings and private orthopedic practices. She completed an Integrative Musculoskeletal Externship under the directorship of Dr. Alex Moroz at the Rusk Institute of Rehabilitation Medicine at NYU Langone Health in New York, NY. Christine Marcarian, LAc, worked in the pediatric oncology department at St. Joseph’s Children’s Hospital in Paterson, NJ, as an acupuncturist and massage therapist for two years. For five years, she worked for the director of orthopedic medicine at the Active Center for Health and Wellness at Hackensack Meridian Hospital before opening AcupunctureBody, LLC, in Cedar Grove, NJ, in 2011. She completed the SMAC program in September 2017 to expand her services and to continue offering her clients the top care they deserve. When taking her SMAC training courses, she was given the tools and resources needed to properly assess, diagnose, and treat a range of orthopedic injuries and chronic pain. Christine currently finished her training in cosmetic acupuncture/ microneedling and Craniosacral therapy to better serve her patients.
