Ekta completed her Bachelor of Physiotherapy in India, where she successfully owned and managed her own physiotherapy clinic. Through this experience, she developed strong clinical expertise in assessing and treating a diverse patient population with orthopaedic conditions, sports injuries, post-operative cases, and geriatric rehabilitation needs. In 2020, Ekta relocated to Canada to further advance her professional career and successfully completed the licensing requirements to practice as a Registered Physiotherapist. She is registered with the College of Physiotherapists of Ontario and continues to build extensive experience managing orthopaedic injuries, sports-related conditions, post-surgical rehabilitation, motor vehicle accident (MVA) cases, and WSIB claims. Ekta is committed to delivering individualized, evidence-based treatment plans tailored to each patient’s functional goals and lifestyle demands. Her clinical approach integrates manual therapy, acupuncture, dry needling, cupping therapy, and structured therapeutic exercise programs. She places strong emphasis on patient education, corrective exercise, and daily mobility strategies to promote long-term recovery and overall wellness. She is currently pursuing further education in concussion management to expand her expertise in treating patients with post-concussive symptoms. In addition to her physiotherapy credentials, Ekta is a Registered Yoga Teacher (RYT 200), allowing her to incorporate mindful movement, therapeutic stretching, and functional strengthening principles into rehabilitation programs. Outside of her professional practice, Ekta maintains an active lifestyle through weight training, biking, and hiking. She enjoys listening to music, exploring local cafés, and spending time in the outdoors.
